This page explains how to request deletion of your Mahd account and all associated data.

How to request account deletion

You have two options to delete your Mahd account:

Option 1 — Email request (recommended)

1. Send an email from the address you used to register in Mahd to: [email protected]
2. Subject: Delete my Mahd account
3. Body: include your registered email address and a brief confirmation that you want your account and all associated data permanently deleted.

We will process your request within 7 business days and reply to confirm deletion.

Option 2 — From within the app

1. Open Mahd on your device and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion prompt.

(If this option is not yet available in your app version, please use Option 1.)

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your account (email, display name, encrypted password)
• All child profiles you have created (name, birth date, gender)
• All growth measurements, milestones, vaccination records, doctor visits, and teeth-tracking entries
• Your topic preferences and bookmarks
• Any notifications queued for you
• Session cookies

What is retained (and for how long)

• Anonymized server logs (containing IP addresses, request timestamps, and error traces): retained for up to 30 days for security auditing, then automatically purged.
• Backups: automated database backups may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion before rotation, but are not accessible to the application or support staff.
• No other data is retained.
